Why does it download something the first time?
The BEN2 background-removal model (~219MB, MIT-licensed) downloads one time into your browser cache, then reuse is instant. Its download progress is shown live. Low-RAM devices fall back automatically to the smaller MODNet path at 1024px.
Where does my photo go?
Nowhere. Your photo is processed in your browser and the results are saved right in your own downloads — kabhi kisi server par nahi jaati.
Do variations differ?
Yes — deterministic painter variants (white, pastel palette, soft glow) rotate across the sweep in Auto mode; in fixed-bg modes the fit, zoom and soft-shadow alternate deterministically, with the subtle border on every 4th, exactly like the ListiLabel extension pipeline.
Can I set my own background?
Yes — pick "Custom image" and give any photo (room, texture, branded backdrop); the cutout is composited over it. You can also use solid colors, gradients, ya built-in theme presets.
Same engine as the extension?
Yes — the web page and the ListiLabel Chrome extension use the same BEN2-first ensemble with the identical preprocess (1000px <= 50KB quality loop) so results match.
